Misses Lara by 81.

Sehwag missed the 400 mark by 81 runs. He was in a nice touch for the past two days but fell to Ntini when he was on 319, highest individual score by an Indian. He is the first cricketer to score a triple century on Indian soil. No cricketer has ever scored a triple century. He is the third player in cricketing history to score two triple centuries after Lara and the legendary cricketer Sir Don Bradman. Sehwag was dropped recently from test cricket for his poor form. So a nice way to come back.
A sad day for cricket fans today in the Chepauk stadium for the little master fans. He was out for a DUCK. He used to play well every time in this ground even if others failed to play well in Chepauk. I think this is the first time he was out for a Duck in this venue. I am not sure about this information. So the little master failed to impress his fans in Chennai. This could be his last test in this ground. Chennai hardly gets to host a test of one day international match between Indian and some other nation due to some unknown reason. Most of the matches go to north, east or west venues and a match comes to our place rarely.

It was happy for one thing. The wall stood here and showed that he is the best in test cricket. It is acceptable that he is not good for shorter version of the game because he is born to rule the test cricket. Also no one can be compared with his consistency in test cricket. The wall is one of the the best!

Second place to Obama ?

Barack Obama is the front-Runner in the American Presidential race,as of now.Though Obama is leading the presidential polls he is being criticized continuously.We can it as criticism or just as a fact indeed.Obama won at many of the southern states where there is a large number of votes flowing from the Blacks.So the supporters of Hilary Clinton are criticizing him that his victories were only due to the reason that he is Black,Obama's position is tested with such kinds of critics.Barack Obama surely deserves this,he has won several hearts but many in US will view these victories as, the so called Black factor.

One among the recent critics is that Hilary and her supporters invites Obama to join hands with her by taking the second place,that is as the vice-president.This is the first time ever,where a person in the second place offers the person in the first place,the second place.A bit confusing isn't it?.Hilary indirectly asks Obama to give up his US president dreams and asks him to be his assistant,as the vice-president.But as of now Obama is the front runner.He has clearly said that he will never sitting in the second place.He is surely running to catch up the First position-The US president.He added that he has the majority of the delegates on his side and has promised to form a well united government with his party mates!.He is my favorite too.

Sachin Back to the Business

Two match-winning knocks against Australia in the tri-series finals have propelled Sachin Tendulkar back to the position of world's number one ODI batsman displacing the vanquished Australian skipper Ricky Ponting in the ICC Rankings on Tuesday.
Tendulkar is seven rating points clear of Ponting, who had a miserable run with the bat during the series and struggled against a young Indian attack.
The second-placed Ponting is followed by South African captain Graeme Smith at the third spot.Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who became the first Indian wicketkeeper to score more than 300 runs and effect 20 dismissals in a series, is at the 10th spot with 728 points, just five below ninth-placed Herschelle Gibbs.
Dhoni's deputy Yuvraj Singh occupies the 18th position with 691 points.
Meanwhile, the historic triumph has helped India gain three rating points to move just a fraction behind third-placed New Zealand in the ICC ODI Championship table, where Australia's lead on top was trimmed to a bare minimum.
Australia, which entered the series on 130 ratings points, dropped to 127 points, the same as second-placed South Africa but above Graeme Smith's side when the ratings are calculated beyond the decimal point.

Tired of Pen drive Viruses?

The usage of a pen drive or a flash memory has become a very common thing. Also with the cost of memory chips going down (now you can get a 4GB memory stick for Rs.800) have boosted its usage and also an USB flash drive is compact and very easy to carry around. With the increase in the usage of pen drives, viruses spreading through these memory sticks as increased exponentially.

As such you can't completely prevent the viruses but to minimize these viruses and worms spreading to the PCs we can take some preventive measures.

Turn off the Auto Run:-

Pen drives uses the Autorun feature to load certain files when it is plugged into a USB port. Now, the worms and viruses uses this autorun feature to spread itself from the thumb drives to the computers. You can avoid majority of these worms spreading by turning off the autorun feature. To do is very simple just follow these steps,

If you are using Win XP Professional edition:-

Click Start button

Select Run.

Now type gpedit.msc in Run command .

You will notice the Group Policy Window opening.

Double click Administrative Templates.

Select System in the right pane of the window.

Now,select(double click)Turn Off AutoPlay .

Turn Off Autoplay properties window opens.

Now,select All Drives from the combo box in that and select Enabled radio button and press OK.

If you are using Win XP Home edition,try these:-

Select Run and type regedit to open the registry editor.

Then navigate as follows

HKEY_CURRENT_USER

--> Software

--> Microsoft

--> Windows

--> CurrentVersion

--> Policies

--> Explorer.

Now,select NODRIVETYPEAUTORUN and select Modify.

Set the Hexadecimal value to 95 to turn off autoplay in removable drives and use b5 to turn off autorun feature in CD-ROMs and pen drives.Thus turning off autorun feature just stops many malwares from spreading into a PC from a thumb drive.

Known malwares:

Now you can now delete many worms manually some known viruses are Autorun.inf,iexplore.vbs,ifo.exe,raven.exe,rvhost.exe and NewFolder.exe(a worm looks like folder,but is actually an exe file,a worm).Better to use a nice antivirus and scan for viruses in the plugged in drive before opening it as these files will be hidden or access protected.But however you can view those files in command prompt by first entering into your removable drive(eg: J:)then type the following- attrib -h -r -s -a *.*.After typing that you can view those files.But it is better to use a nice Anti-virus software.You can also many softwares available(like TrueCrypt) to password protect your pen drive .In such a case a window Pops Up every time when you plug in the drive.This would also help preventing the viruses from loading automatically into the pen drive. Using such softwares will also prevent unauthorized usage of data your drive, especially when your having sensitive information in your drive.

INDIA MAKE AN END TO AUSSIE DOMINANCE

India wrapped up the triangular one-day international cricket competition when they beat Australia by nine runs to take an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the best-of-three finals series here Tuesday. The Indians made 258-9 in their 50 overs then restricted the home side to 249 to claim a thrilling win and take the final ever triangular series to be played in Australia. Veteran Sachin Tendulkar led the Indian batting with a fine 91 before newcomer Praveen Kumar tore through the Australian top order, claiming Adam Gilchrist, Ricky Ponting and Michael Clarke with just 32 runs on the board.Kumar came back at the death to bowl Brett Lee and finish the match with 4-46 from 10 overs to signal his arrival on the international scene. Australian allrounder James Hopes led a rearguard action, scoring a career-high 63, but he kept losing batting partners and was last man out when caught at mid-off trying to blast 13 runs off the final over. The Indians made a magnificent start in the field when Gilchrist, in what turned out to be his last innings for Australia, edged a ball from the impressive Kumar to wicketkeeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni to be out for just two. Kumar struck again in his next over when Ponting (1) tried to pull a shorter ball and spooned an easy catch to Yuvraj Singh at mid-on. Clarke (17) then followed after he lazily tried to pull a straight delivery only to see it crash into the top of off-stump to leave Australia staggering at 32-3.But when an injury-hampered Tendulkar was dismissed for 91, the scoring rate slowed and Australia's bowlers began to gain control. Tendulkar was well supported by Yuvraj Singh (38), M.S. Dhoni (36) and Robin Uthappa (30), but the Indians were at least 50 runs short of where they should have been. They had a let off when Ponting dropped Tendulkar on seven, the Australian skipper spilling a difficult diving chance at point. The little master made the Australians pay for the miss as he began to settle and increase the scoring rate. He brought up his 50 from 70 balls when he dabbed a short ball from Stuart Clark to third man, delighting the large number of Indian supporters in the crowd.Andrew Symonds (42) and Matthew Hayden (55) recovered brilliantly and got the Australians back on track until Hayden was run out with the score on 121. Symonds was making a big impact with his bat, but made an even bigger one with his shoulder when he tackled a streaker who made the mistake of running too close to the burly Queenslander. The match appeared as good as over when Harbhajan Singh trapped Symonds in front to leave Australia 123-5. Mike Hussey and Hopes set out on a rescue mission and put on 76 before Hussey feathered a Shanthakumaran Sreesanth delivery to Dhoni with Australia on 199. Although Hopes got Australia close, the task was always just out of reach and the young Indian side celebrated wildly as their older opponents ran out of deliveries. After Dhoni won the toss and chose to bat, India were 205-3 at one stage and heading for a score of more than 300.
